CPR - Cardio First Angel Device
Your CPR assistance device for the
first and most important moments
during a cardiac arrest.
The CFA is a portable, manually operated device intended to be applied to the chest of a patient experiencing cardiac arrest. Its purpose is to assist a person in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and to deliver the most effective manual chest compressions, by indicating via an audible click when an optimal amount of downward pressure is applied to the patient’s chest.
It consists of a chest plate with a large depressible button and is intended to translate an applied downward force into a well-positioned chest compression while indicating (with a loud click) when optimum force has been applied. It can also assist with the timing of chest compressions.
Always Ready
Without any electricity or battery – purely mechanically – the Cardio First Angel is always ready to use in an emergency situation where CPR is required. Instructions are shown in uncomplicated and international comprehensible icons.
Ideal positioning
The specific design of the Cardio First Angel guarantees the correct positioning on the patient’s breast, so the cardiac massage (CPR compressions) works exactly where it is needed. A special foam creates a soft contact surface and absorbs moisture.
Optimum force
A special spring signals the perfect pressure of 41 kg with a clear click-sound. The click-sound is also audible with the following release of the spring. If the first aider is geared to these two click-sounds he will automatically reach the required frequency of round about 100 compressions per minute.
